The project has been awarded at the beginning of 2015 to ORDINAT by POLIMEKS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY.
Construction contract is signed in February and installation works had started in March. Fuel hydrant system will be capable of simultaneously supplying jet fuel to 30 passenger boarding bridges with 58 hydrant pits and 24 remote apron park positions with 42 hydrant pits at Ashgabat International Airport (AIA). The scope of this project is:
- Installation of 3300 m 16”, 5300 m 12” , 2210 m 10”, 1100 m 6” jet fuel pipelines (will be 100% radiographically controlled),
- Installation of total 100 civil aviation jet fuel hydrant pits, 46 high and low point pits with their interiors, 9 DBB (Double Block Bleed) Valves with actuators and 5 gate valves,
- Installation of leak detection system with its required instruments, emergency shutdown (ESD) system, cathodic protection system with sacrificial anode methods, earthing and other related electrical works which will be operated from an electronic board.
Project completed in August 2016.
