Crude Oil Tank TK-3003 which has a capacity of 50.000m³ and approx. 33 yearsold was first cleaned by an expert company and the derived petroleum productswere regained. It was inspected acc. to API 653 by another expert company andsome plates has been renewed and repaired.
- It was washed with pressurized water internally and externally. Than the surfaceswere cleaned using blasting steel grit, and then coated with 300-450 micronimported epoxy paints.
- The fire extinguishing system and foam system pipes were prepared accordingto the curves of the tank, assembled around and on top of the tank, galvanizedand painted with epoxy paints.
- A new foam wall was constructed on top of the floating roof.
- 20” diffuser pipe and 2 drain pots with a diameter of 1.500mm were manufacturedand mounted.
- Steam and condense lines were changed.
- Floating roof rain water drainage system pipes were galvanized and mounted.
- Seal system was renewed.
- Leg Sock and Gauge Pole Sock systems were mounted on the floating roof legsand the level indicator system pipes for prevention of the gas outlet.
