TÜPRAŞ İzmit Refinery 10D-110 Tank (65.000 m³ Crude Oil) Sludge Cleaning And Floating Roof, Bottom Plates And Seal Renewal Works

Sludge collected within the 63.000m³ capacity 10D-110 floating roof crude oil tankwith a diameter of 76m located in TÜPRAŞ Izmit Refinery tank area was removedby an expert company and the derived petroleum products were regained. Tankbottom was leveled and then the bottom and floating roof plates were renewed.

- It was washed with pressurized water internally and externally. The surfaceswere blast cleaned using steel grit and then coated with epoxy paints in a dry filmthickness of 600 microns.
- Sprinkler system and foam system were renewed.
- A new foam wall on top of the floating roof was installed.
- Drain pot was manufactured and installed.
- Steam and condense lines and coils were changed.
- Seal system was changed.
- Level measuring system and anti rotation system were manufactured and erected.
- Stairs for floating roof was manufactured and installed.
- Fire hydrant system was manufactured and installed.
- 30” diffuser pipe was manufactured and erected.
- Tank mixers were repaired.
- Floating roof swing line pipe was manufactured and erected.
- Floating roof drain system was manufactured and erected.

The Project was successfullycompleted in 2006.
