TUPRAS Izmir Refinery TK-3099C (50.000M³ Diesel Oil) Storage Tank Various Repair Works

TK-3099/C and TK-3099/D diesel oil storage tanks each having a capacity of 50.000m³ and approx. 20 years old have been inspected by an expert company and some plates of roofs have been renewed. Than they were washed with pressurized water internally and externally. Then the surfaces were cleaned using blasting steel grit, later coated with 300-450 micron imported epoxy paints. - The fire extinguishing system pipes were prepared according to the curves of the tank, assembled around and on top of the tanks, galvanized and painted with epoxy paints. - This individual fire fighting system was connected to the main fire extinguishing system. - The radiation fire walls and tank exterior drainage system were installed. - The measuring systems of the tanks were renewed.
