TÜPRAŞ Izmir Refinery 50.000 m³ Fuel Oil Tank Construction, Manufacturing And Installation Works

The 50.000m³ fuel oil tank (dome roof / without any roof columns with a diameterof 60.7meters) which is in TUPRAS Izmir Refinery were completed as per API 650.The project involved:
Civil works;
- Tank foundation construction works, tank pipe way construction works (sleepers,culverts), tank oily water and storm water drainage works, tank access roads,tank dike walls, tank cable duct construction works.
Mechanical works;
- Tank bottom plates, annular bottom plates, shell plates, roof trusses, roof plates procurement, fabrication and erection works. All tank accessories, tank heating coils, tank stair cases manufacturing & erection, tank inside and outside sandblasting, painting and coating works and outside insulation works.
- Total 2.000 meters of 20”, 12”, 10” tank forwarding and unloading lines sandblasting, painting, fabrication, erection and insulation Works
- Tank fire protection sprinkle and foam lines fabrication and erection works.
Electrical works;
- Tank grounding system, tank equipment power and instrument lines, tank liquid level and temperature measuring system, tank area and roads illumination works.
