TUPRAS Izmir Refinery 200 Reformer Unit Concrete Stack Reinforcement Works

This project involved; - Sandblasting of the top of foundation of reinforced concrete chimney having 60m height and its external surfaces. - Washing the surfaces by a water jet at a pressure of 150-200bar and than application of minimum 300gr/m² carbon fiber fabric where necessary. - Application of protective paints into the areas where rust was seen on the equipment. - Filling the exposed areas with epoxy repair plaster and strengthening the chimney surface by filling with injection resin.
