The project including facilities capable of simultaneously supplying jet fuel to 27 aero planes at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport’s New International Flights Terminal was completed in 2006. The project involved: - Installation of 5.800m 14”, 2.950m 12”, 2.700m 6” jet fuel pipelines (100% radiographically controlled), - Installation of 57 aero plane jet fuel hydrants and cathodic protection system operated from an electronic panel, - New Airport Jet Fuel Pumping Station comprising; 2x1.800m³ jet fuel storage tanks, 5 pumps (total capacity of 985m³/h), 5 filter/separators, 5 valve chambers, control board room and panels, MCC system and pumping station including all kinds of energy supply for the system, - The system installed is serving 15 bridges and 12 parking aero planes, - The basic and detailed engineering were in the scope of the Project.
