The project including facilities capable of simultaneously supplying jet fuel to 18 aircrafts at Ankara Esenboğa Airport’s New International Terminal wascompleted in 2006. The project involved:
- Installation of 2.550m 14”, 1.400m 12”, 500m 8” and 2.500m 6” underground jetfuel pipelines (100% radiographically controlled),
- Installation of 39 aircraft jet fuel hydrants and cathodic protection systemoperated from an electronic panel,
- New Airport Jet Fuel Pumping Station comprising; 2x1.800m³ jet fuel storagetanks, 8 pumps (total capacity of 1.225m³/h), 8 filter/separators, 4 valve chambers,control board room and panels, MCC system and pumping station includingall kinds of energy supply for the system.
- The system installed is serving 18 bridges.
- The basic and detailed engineering were in the scope of the Project.
